ACTIVITIES FOR THE 2012 NATIONAL READING MONTH

Nov. 5 , 2012 (Monday)	BOOK SA SULOK -          Each classroom will have its reading corner. Awards for the most number of books read will be given. -          The design of each classroom’s Reading Corner must fix / reflect with this year’s theme: “Nasa Pagbasa ang Pag-asa”. Be creative in making your Reading Corner. -          After reading a story in every book, the reader must fill in the story map and must be posted in the Reading Corner made. The copy of which must be submitted to the Office of the Supreme Student Government (SSG) through Mr. Jhony Quiamco-Quizada , SSG President.
Nov. 8, 2012 (Thursday)	KWENTONG MAY KWENTO -          SSG Officers, English Club President and SAMAFIL President will be assigned to Mambag-A Elementary School to read stories.
Nov. 19, 2012 (Monday)	Bookworm sa Storm -          Teams composed of Grade 7 pupils to 4th year students will be asked about the authors, characters and plot of the materials read in the classroom.
Nov. 27, 2012 Nov. 23, 2012	ARAW NG PAGBASA HINDI KA NAG-IISA -          An oratorical contest of Ninoy’s undelivered speeches. The undelivered “Arrival speech” , “The Candle of My Life” , , and “End’s Beginning” of late Senator Benigno Aquino. FACE  A BOOK -          A school Facebook Page were created wherein everybody are highly encouraged to post pictures of students, teachers, parents, school leaders, local officials and other professionals reading.           (NIEVES VILLARICA NHS Facebook Page)
